Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Event-X. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using Event-X, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our platform.

2. Account Registration

To use certain features of Event-X, you must:

Be at least 18 years old
Provide accurate and complete information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
Be responsible for all activities under your account

3. Booking Terms

For Customers:

Bookings are confirmed upon payment receipt
You must comply with venue rules and capacity limits
Cancellation policies vary by venue
Refunds are subject to venue cancellation policy
You are responsible for any damages to the venue

For Venue Owners:

You must provide accurate venue information
Honor all confirmed bookings
Maintain venue in advertised condition
Respond to customer inquiries promptly
Comply with all local laws and regulations

4. Payment Terms

All prices are displayed in NGN (Nigerian Naira)
Payment is required at the time of booking
Service fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated
Venue owners receive payment after event completion
We reserve the right to hold payments in case of disputes

5. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

Use the platform for any illegal purpose
Post false or misleading information
Harass, abuse, or harm other users
Circumvent payment systems or fees
Interfere with platform operations
Use automated systems to access the platform
Violate any applicable laws or regulations

6. Intellectual Property

All content on Event-X, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Event-X or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

7. Disclaimers

Event-X provides the platform "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not:

Guarantee venue availability or condition
Endorse or verify all venue information
Assume liability for user conduct or events
Warrant uninterrupted or error-free service

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Event-X shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Event-X shall be resolved through our internal dispute resolution process. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason we deem necessary. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or platform notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
